Saddle Hunting

Personally Im new to Saddle hunting but sure glad I made the plunge to saddle up. you see in order for you to understand the value in a tree saddle for me you first need to understand my immense fear of heights to start with. I would dread the very thought of hunting from a tree stand leading up to deer season, my knees shake, sweat like a boxer in the 6th roundand the whole time I was hunting I would be thinking about the decent down the tree after.

So this year I decided to try a Tree Saddle, I've watched every video on YouTube so knew I wanted to have the option to both One-Stick and Multi-Stick.

Canadian Made Tree Saddles from Stini Gear are some of the best craftsmanship I've seen in the industry, with great attention to detail from the material selections to construction and finally the customer service offered by Paul from Stini Gear.

After spending some time chatting with Paul I decided to pull the pin and get a Stini Saddle pre season so I could get use to the way it all went together worded as it was new to me and looked fairly confusing.

Once I had the saddle and all the other required companats I was ready to test my new gear and fear.

Putting together the saddle and attaching the componats went fairly easy as like I said earlier I had watch a lot of video on every way to do it to decide what was most likely to work for me, remember saddle hunting is very much personalized from one persons style to the next. So with my Trophy Line Wingman Platform and Steps in hand along with my Stini Saddle all in place.

At first you want to try everything at ground level to get firmilar with the components as well as any adjustments your saddle may have to better improve you safety and comfort, I was pretty much sold on the whole concept instantly and was amazed at how quickly the feel of moving around the tree with ease and stealthy quiet came natural... It was time to leave the ground!
