Life on the side of a river chasing Wild Atlantic Salmon or in a Big Game rich valley is a pretty darn good way to spend your days at work!
Whether your a Sports Fisher, Backcountry Hunter, Kayaker or anyone who like to spend time in the outdoors, we all have one thing in common.... we burn calories and the need to replenish our fuel source for the energy required to keep going is a must, so we must eat!
For some a Peanut Butter, or even a classic Roast Beef Sandwich and Grandpa's big Heavey Thermos full of coffee, and they'd be set for the da y.
I for one am not a big fan of sandwiches, nor carrying all that weight for the day.
For years I carried a small pocket stove and a Titanium Pot to heat water and those worked great and served well for many years without fail, but after discovering the Jetboil I've never looked back either for my Day pack or Muli-day excursions.
I tend to carry Chaga for myself as a hot drink on a cool day and offers a natural shot of energy, I'll also carry coffee for those wishing for that flavor but I make it a point to always offer a tasty treat of fresh Labrador Tea on an outing if there is any available in the area!
